Error logging enabled terraria что делать

The world I have edited with Tedit always crashes shortly after loading up in Terraria itself. To be more specific, I can successfully load my edited world in Terraria but I can only play for a matter of seconds before Terraria crashes and closes completely. I can load the world fine in Tedit so I’m guessing it’s not a corrupted file, but I don’t know how to be sure. I’ve verified integrity via Steam but that didn’t seem to do anything. I am posting this here because all of my other worlds (which have not been edited using Tedit) are working as one would expect so I can only assume something I did in Tedit has caused this problem/

Can you reproduce the issue?

I would if I knew exactly what the issue is. All I can really say is that I had added a lot of wiring and only after that did my world start crashing in-game. So I went and erased most of it to see what happened and it did seem to lengthen my play time from a few seconds to a couple minutes but the crashing persisted.

Post relevant contents of log or attach log file (very important):

This is not a problem with Tedit as an application. I have the crash log for Terraria enabled but for some reason when this specific world crashes, nothing is added to the log.

Oh what fun! I noticed that many people have been posting the same errors all over the Reddit, all the time without using the Weekly Questions Thread.SO! I decided to make one-time easy to copy-pase or link list of solutions to 80% of the game-crashing problems for the guys and gals constantly visiting us because they are too lazy to google it. (^_^)Feel free to add anything to it or correct me if any of these is wrong.(NOTE: My PC is custom made/assembled piece of scrap that had all of its parts replaced multiple times over last 8 years so I had to deal and research a lot of these and I know they work.)HERE WE GO AND I HOPE YOU LIKE IT:

— Go to your Steam -> Terraria right click -> Properties -> Local Files -> VERIFY INTEGRITY OF LOCAL FILES. (if game is crashing while logging off or exiting the world check point 7.

— Delete the Config.json file from your Terraria Documents folder (use chain above but at the end Browse Local files).

— Also uninstall any mods first — things like Calamity, Overhaul or even Thorium can screw up your game and sometimes they are left in the game folder even after uninstalling it so check if anything has been left where you installed them and your game files (just be carefull to not delete your characters/worlds).

In the Start menu Right click Computer -> Properties -> Advanced System Settings-> [Performance] Visual effects, processor usage and virtual memory Settings -> Advanced -> Change Virtual Memory Minimuim to 10000 and Maximuim to 19999.

— Go to the Start Menu and click on Settings.- Search performance.- Choose Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.- In the new window, go to the Advanced tab and under the Virtual memory section, click on Change.-At the bottom of the new window, uncheck «let system manage paging file»- then click on Custom size.- Set the top bar or Minimuim to 10000. What version of Terraria are you using?

Terraria «Lost Connection» , no fixes seem to work

Hey, I have wanted to get back into playing Terraria for a while now, but keep running into an issue with multiplayer.

No matter if I try to connect to public servers, a self-hosted one or join my friends via Steam, the connection always fails and a «Lost Connection» error shows up immediately after pinging the server.

Disabling Router Firewall

At this point I have no further idea what to try, but still really want to play Terraria with my friends.

Terraria 1.4 keeps crashing

I have the same problem. Sometimes it takes 5-30 minutes until it crashes. Sometimes it crashes immediately after startup. Please help, the progress of my world keeps reverting back to a certain point in the past.

Try disabling auto save

Game keeps crashing after 5-20min, at random times with no specific in game action being the cause, usually there are no errors but I found this crash log below.

Updated to the game to patch 1.4.0.2, reinstalled game, verified file integrity, reinstalled .xna, . net, direct x, and so on. No razer software or drivers on my pc. Set Razer RGB to «false» in config, no steam cloud is enabled. Worked 100% before the update.

Error logging enabled террария

Today’s hotfix update doesn’t look like it dealt with any startup issues — the 4/19 hotfix did, however. I only see 1 other report of this issue on the forum here since this update, so it may just be a fluke.

Just on the off chance that you haven’t — try shutting down your PC completely, then starting it back up, and post if that fixes it. Other than that, a clean reinstall would be your next best chance, imo, if you have the patience.

If I had to guess, I’d say it’s some sort of missing .lib file erroneously left out of the installer. unfortunately the only simple fix for that would be to wait for the next hotfix.

There’s a chance the error logs may show something. You would need to manually enable error logging though.
The easiest way to do that is to go into Steam > Library, Right-Click Terraria and select «Properties». Click «Set Launch Options» and paste in the line:
-logerrors -logfile

Run Terraria, wait for it to finish crashing, then the log file should be available wherever you have Terraria installed to(most commonly «C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonTerrariaLogs»). If you skim through it the cause might be obvious, but if it isn’t obvious feel free to post it, it should be pretty short since it crashes before init and devs can benefit from that kind of info.

Quality Assurance

This is likely relating to the new peripheral support we added to Terraria, though I’m not sure why it would be causing this crash.

One thing you could try doing is disabling the peripheral support via the config.json file.

If you go to Documents>My Games>Terraria, there is a file called config.json

In that are some settings:
«UseRazerRGB»: true,
«UseCorsairRGB»: true,
«UseLogitechRGB»: true,

If you set them to false and save, you could try again and see if it helps with this.

I did attempt to disable the peripheral support but my config file doesnt include the variables you mentioned and deleting it to get a new one doesn’t change this.
I attempted to insert them manually, but that just causes crashes without errors.

Not sure if it is at all related to the issue but before 1.4+ came out, I was having other issues with Terraria crashing on startup that I was unable to resolve, but I can at least play the game now.

Game constantly crashing either randomly or on Save and Exit.

Terrarian

I’ve been playing Terraria for years and this is the first time I have seen these types of crashes happen. To add context, I have edited my players and worlds using TEdit and Yal.cc, but to my knowledge these should not be breaking the game. I have also used these in the past and my game has not crashed this much. I am on Windows 11 and my game will frequently crash when I Save and Exit or when I die. Sometimes it will crash when I am just playing normally as well. I have reinstalled multiple times, whitelisted in Windows Security and verified game files and nothing is fixing the issue. I have checked Event Viewer and these are the errors I see:

To add onto the verification of Steam files, when I verify the files it will usually say 1 file failed to validate and then the game will work for a short period of time. However it will crash after a while and it will continue this loop of validating a single file. I have also tried sfc /scannow and it says there are no issues with my Windows files. What other options do I have?

A great many people complain about the Terraria lost connection issue. How to fix this annoying problem? In this article, MiniTool summarizes 8 effective ways to fix the Terraria multiplayer lost connection error.

According to user reports, the Terraria lost connection error often occurs when joining a server via Steam. The issue can be caused by various factors such as a mismatched or outdated game version, corrupt game files, antivirus interference, incompatible game character, and so forth. Don’t worry. We will provide corresponding fixes to the lost connection Terraria issue.

Solution 1. Check for the Game Version

If you encounter the Terraria multiplayer lost connection error when you join a friend’s server via Steam, then it could be caused by a mismatched game version. In this case, you just need to update Terraria to the latest version and match it with your friend’s version that you are connecting to.

Solution 2. Verify the Integrity of Game Files

Sometimes the Terraria stuck on connecting to your friend when the game files get corrupted or incomplete. To fix the issue, you can try verifying the integrity of game files on Steam. Here’s how to do that:

Step 1. Run Steam client as an administrator, and then navigate to the Library tab.

Step 2. Right-click the Terraria icon from the left pane and select Properties.

Step 3. Inside the Properties window, navigate to the Local Files section and click on the Verify Integrity of Game Files option.

click on Verify Integrity of Game Files

Once completed, relaunch the game and see if the error is fixed. If you still can’t join Terraria server via Steam, try the following fixes.

Solution 3. Check If You Are in Different Styles

The “Terraria connection lost” problem can occur if you have a character that is incoordinate with the type of map. To be specific, if you want to have a Classic Map or join someone’s Class Mode game, you need to create a Classic Character. Likewise, you should make a Journey Character if you have a Journey Map or want to join a Journey Mode game. Therefore, make sure you create a character according to your Map type or mode game.

Solution 4. Check for Antivirus or Firewall Interference

The lost connection Terraria error can occur when your Windows Firewall or antivirus program is blocking you from accessing the server. Under this situation, you can allow the game through your Firewall or antivirus software.

Step 1. Type firewall in the search box and then select the Windows Defender Firewall from the context menu.

Step 2. Click on Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall from the left pane.

Step 3. Select the checkbox of Terraria and Steam from the list of programs and check the boxes next to both Private and Public. Then click OK to save changes.

Tip: For Avast, you can read this post to add the game to its exclusion. For AVG antivirus, navigate to Home > Settings > Components > Web Shield > Exceptions to add the game to the exceptions list. For Kaspersky, navigate to Home > Settings > Additional > Threats and Exclusions > Exclusions > Specify Trusted Applications > Add.

    ipconfig flashdns cmd
