So, I kept getting an error on ARK. I fixed it by completely deleting everything related to ARK and redownloading it. However, after an update this morning, it has broken again. I know my PC can handle it as it runs smoothly on high settings. This is the error message:

I think it happens whenever ARK downloads some Steam Workshop content. That’s what downloaded this morning, plus as you can see in the wall of errors above me: :

I tried repairing the game through Steam and launching the game without » -nostartupmovies » in the start up options

It gets stuck on the loading shaders part and just closes itself.

So, the pop-up complains that it doesn’t work with 64-bit Executables.

I started getting it to work, if I put «-nostartupmovies» back in it, and just let it do it’s thing.
At least it did until recently, where now it just maxes out my CPU and forcing me to close Steam and Borderlands through the taskmanager (Borderlands 3 apperantly working independently of Steam)

Edit: Actually, according to Task Manager, Borderlands 3 opens within the Steam-Login registry, instead of making it’s own. Meaning to turn off BL3, I need to open the task-manager, open the details on Steam-Login, and close BL3 there.

Have you checked EAC and Reinstalled/repaired it also ? Also it may help to reinstall your GPU drivers completly.

I wish i could say it worked without any fatal errors but in the time i played after the scan (wich indeed found broken files) i got another fatal error.

CrazySuspect , KERNELBASE.dll отвечает за взаимодействие между библиотеками. Ошибка говорит о том, что вероятно что то повреждено или не установлено в системе.

Всем добрый день. Буквально вчера пересел с 7-й винды на 10-ю, теперь в анриале возникла такая проблема: при попытке открыть контекстное меню какой-либо кнопки (к примеру, настройки на тулбаре или file, windows, ну и прочие менюшки, которые обязательно нужны для работы) меню просто не открывается как будто кнопки пустые. Такое в движке с большинством кнопок, хотя такие как play и build работают нормально. Может кто помочь в чём дело или наверняка кто-нибудь с таким сталкивался?)

SuperHero70, а зачем собственно ты на 10-ю переходил ? Я посмотрел видео на Youtube про эту операционку. Обычно тем пользователям которым нужна стабильность работы сидят на 7-й. На десятке после обновлений появляются глюки, которые исправляются в последующих обновлениях. В основном на 10-й сидят гэймеры из-за игр. Но и то из-за глюков иногда часть из них переходят обратно на 7-ю.

Попробовал в файле SourceSample_GridPublicPlaceholder.h закоментировать:
//#include «Interfaces/GridPawnInterface.h»

Теперь проект открылся, но не запускается: UE ругается на ошибки

(PS: Знаю, вопрос, возможно, глупый…. Но я ведь еще новичек в UE)

gamescreator, нужно читать внимательно инструкцию:

Install
Clone this project to ${YourProject}/Plugins/
Generate project file
Compile

Нужно положить скачанный проект в свой проект в папку Plugins.

Если даже сделал всё правильно, но редактор не запускается. Ругается на ошибки. То это значит, что версия движка не соответствует плагину.

I tried repairing the game through Steam and launching the game without » -nostartupmovies » in the start up options

It gets stuck on the loading shaders part and just closes itself.

So, the pop-up complains that it doesn’t work with 64-bit Executables.

I started getting it to work, if I put «-nostartupmovies» back in it, and just let it do it’s thing.
At least it did until recently, where now it just maxes out my CPU and forcing me to close Steam and Borderlands through the taskmanager (Borderlands 3 apperantly working independently of Steam)

Edit: Actually, according to Task Manager, Borderlands 3 opens within the Steam-Login registry, instead of making it’s own. Meaning to turn off BL3, I need to open the task-manager, open the details on Steam-Login, and close BL3 there.

I even try to start the game with low setting and no sound and doesn’t work 🙁 I don’t know if my pc can’t run the game after the big update 🙁

Two things you can try right quick.

First is to verify integrity of game cache through steam library. Right click on game name and click on properties.

Second thing is to make sure you have the most current version of your graphics driver.

It’s related to your memory and the lack of ability reading from it. Run memtest86 and see if any errors show.

OS was installed in summer 2017. Psu is OCZ-ZS550W.

I ran memtest86 overnight and got 0 errors. Clean installed latest GPU drivers using DDU. Updated drivers and Windows updates. Reinstalled affected games

Just formatted my drive and installed Windows 10 Pro. Installed only Fortnite and still the same thing happens. Not happening to anyone else in the house. Is this a hardware error?

Description

The same callstack appears in 4.24.3 (CL-11590370) but only when playing a Sequence with a Media Track that has a ImgMediaSource and Media Texture set on it. These repro steps work for 4.25 and 4.26 since the crash is triggered earlier. 

This was tested in 4.25.1 (CL-13594126) and reproduced in Main 4.26 (CL-13653677)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Download the attached EXR file
  2. Open the UE4 Editor and create a Blank project
  3. Create a ImgMediaSource and set the EXR as it’s Sequence Path
  4. Create a Level Sequence and add a Media Track
  5. Add the ImgMediaSource to the Media track

Results: The Editor crashes

Expected: The Editor doesn’t crash
