Время от времени, при сканировании документов со стекла, на дисплее высвечивается: «Ошибка сканера 22». Если аппарат еще новый, то лучше всего поменять его по гарантии. Хочу сразу сказать, что данная проблема встречается, чуть ли на всех аппаратах, это связано с неудачной конструкции сканера и тяжелого автоподачика.
Когда есть небольшое нажатие на стекло, то каретка сканера не может сойти с места и поэтому возникает данная ошибка. С левой стороны, между двумя стеклами, есть небольшая полоска пластмассы, она и прогибается. Каретка сканера катается между ними и при давлении на стекло, цепляется за эту пластмассу. Эта ошибка может возникнуть даже при сканировании одного листа, а не только толстых документов и паспортов.
Если возникла «Ошибка сканера 22», решается перезагрузкой аппарата. Но, что бы ошибка больше не высвечивалась, необходимо немного усовершенствовать конструкцию.
Разбираем блок сканера, а именно снимаем крышку со стеклом и автоподачиком. Для снятия нам необходимо открутить восемь саморезов под звездообразную отвертку, такую можно найти во Fix Price, четыре по углам сканера, два самореза у петлей крышки и последние два спереди снизу. Когда снимем крышку, увидим углубление с левой стороны, где шестеренки. В этом углубление нужно сделать какую то опору, что бы стекло с пластмассой не прогибалось при давлении. Для этого подойдет стопка монеток (например по 10 копеек), ластик или любая другая пластмасса. Но будьте осторожны, если переборщить с высотой опоры, может треснуть стеклышко.
Собираем блок сканера, закручиваем все саморезы и проверяем. Если сделали все правильно, то сканер должен сканировать любую толщину документов и не выдавать ошибку.

Ошибка 22 сканера решается просто.
Причина: при сканировании толстых документов, паспортов, при закрытой верхней крышки прогибается пластик со стеклом т.к. верхняя крышка с верхним подачиком тяжёлая в следствии чего каретка не может сдвинутся с места. и выскакивает ошибка 22 сканера.
Решение: разбираем крышечку с большим стеклом под которым каретка, там 8 саморезов, 4 по углам 2 у петлей крышки, 2 снизу спереди. Подкладываем стопку монеток любого достоинства ближе к шестерёнкам каретки до того места где она не ездит (слева по середине в углублении). Закручиваем болты. Теперь сканирует любую толщину при закрытой крышки т.к. при прогибе до коретки не доходит и она свободно двигается.

I am unable to scan or copy. I was scanning a number of pictures with everything working fine until I received the error message scanner error 22 on the printer display. Even after clearing the error message I was still unable to scan or copy without getting the same error message. I have unpluged the printer and repluged it in, still the same problem. I have uninstalled the printer several times and reinstalled using the two install files found on the support portion of the HP site, several times and still unable to scan or copy. Can not think of anything different to do. Can anyone help with this problem.

4) Plug the power cable back in
5) Switch on the printer
6) Scanning must work now

Hi,
As I understand you get Scanner Error 22 on LaserJet M1212 MFP,
Kindly follow these steps to resolve the issue.
1.Turn off the power by using the power switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the power and wait for the product to initialize.
2.If a surge protector is being used, remove it. Plug the product directly into the wall socket. Use the power switch to turn the product on.
3. Perform a Hard reset on the unit.
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Press and hold down CANCEL and Start Copy buttons at the same time while powering on printer.
3. Continue to hold down buttons until the control panel display reads PERMANENT STORAGE INIT.
4. Release the buttons. Printer will return to Ready automatically.

Thanks for the suggestion, however it did not solve the problem. When trying to scan the error 22 message still shows up.

When copying you are putting to much pressure on the document, we do this with books and other documents. Turn off power unplug printer for about 30 seconds replug and turn on this should get rid of the error 22 start copying.

Did you unplug the printer and waited about 30 seconds, then plug it back in? You might have to install the driver again. Unless your scanner is not working that happen with my other HP printer never was able to make it work ever again.

I am unable to scan or copy. I was scanning a number of pictures with everything working fine until I received the error message scanner error 22 on the printer display. Граждане подскажите пожалуйста что это за ошибка? Печать на этом устройстве нормальная как по USB так и по LAN, если сканировать один лист, то без проблем, если журнал или паспорт пишет ошибку, работает в основном по сети, ошибка появляется при сканировании и при копировании.

проверил и почистил все датчики сканера, смущает то, что отдельный лист сканирует и из автоподачи без проблем. Шлейфы прозвонил тоже норма, что означает эта ошибка?

шлейфы проверяются подменой, а не прозвонкой. Донора ищите. Можете попробовать для начала сбросы
