Добрый день коллеги

приобрел китайский X prog 5.84, все установил все в норме, хочу очистить краш подушки безопасности Ford Mustang 2019
все подключена по мануалу

но не могу читать дату, ошибка появляется Device is silent Timeout error
куда копать кто нибудь столкнулся?

xprog-m 5.60 communication error

Hi guys,
today I’ve read my SAM to post the file on the forum (see http://mhhauto.com/Thread-SAM-450-virginizing) but now xprog gives me the communication error. Can someone help me? Is the MCU corrupted or an xprog problem? Underneath the details.

Xprog 5.60 box china version
MCU 0011868V011 (Motorola HCS12)

Problem occurs on Flash and on EEPROM.

I will try your advice. I don’t know if it’s the same error but it wirth a try.

Unfortunately reinstall didn’t solve the problem. If I try to verify the flash the firts time I have the error attached and then Communication Error. Is the MCU corrupted? Is there a way to recover it?

I got verify errors, so i reinstalled on new laptop thats not connected to the net and so far works. BUT I use 5.51.

Check and clean connections again and again

Laz you were right. I solved the problem in two ways. First of all as your advice said, I noticed that when communication error occurs the software lost the com port so I checked the USB cable and made it more stable. I also attached an external power connection to the xprog box (12V/100ma external power supply) and then I’ve read/wrote correctly the SAM. Tomorrow I will try it on the car and see if it works.

Xprog M V5.55 ECU Programmer Errors FAQ

Here are the Xprog M V5.55 ECU programmer error solutions that users often encounter.

– DEVICE IS SILENT

– Certificate expired and needs to be updated,or validated

– Can not find the key

– Access violation at address 1283DF84 in module “argen.dll”. Read of address 7A2BFC7A.

– Unknown command: Software error

–Xprog-box v5.55 Safengine error

XPROG-M V5.48 ERROR “DEVICE IS SILENT”

3 possible reasons & solutions:

-the USB cable problem and need to replace

-my computer is not compatible with Xprog-M, better download and install their Ghost Windows Xp Professional Sp3, download link

-If Xprog V5.48 still fails to read, then update Xprog 5.48 to higher version V5.0/V5.50/V5.55 or read it with Xhorse VVDI PROG programmer (this is the ideal ECU programmer for CAS4)

XPROG-M V5.50 error: “Certificate expired and needs to be updated,or validated”

Solution:

Found solution to Chinese Xprog v5.55 (update with ATMEGA64 Repair Chip)
Dongle(key) should have 2(two) instances in device manager (HID-compliant device and USB human interface)
No virtual ET199,no several HID-compliant—just those two I listed. And it works properly then.

XPROG 5.55 error message “Can not find the key!”

Solution:

do you connect usb dongle first.when you connect dongle (after complet install xprog 5.55 software and driver for sure)the led into dongle light windows make drivers install for this dongle when it finish the led into dongle blinking then connect the xprog 5.55 to usb.Ive installed into a windows 7, no problem.

XPROG 5.5.5 error message: Xprogdesktop: Access violation at address 1283DF84 in module “argen.dll”. Read of address 7A2BFC7A.

Solution:
Change another laptop and re-install V5.5.5 X-prog box software.
Recommend operating system: Win XP and Win 7

XPROG-M error massage: Unknown command: Software error

Solution:

ATMEGA64 CPU repair chip can help to fix this hardware problem. only need replace the XPROG-M V5.50 old CPU chip with the New CPU chip, then done!

Xprog-M v5.55 Safengine error

When i installed Xprog-m v5.5.5 software, the Safengine error □□□□□□□□ popped up

Solved by professional technicians!

Open Computer Management and the find out ET199 to uninstall it

(there should be lots of ET199, uninstall all)

Restart the computer

Install the patch file in the CD

Then Xprog-m 5.55 would work fine, usually.

If it still not work, please contact our customer service to send you our Windows XP operating system.

Xprog communication error

My clone xprog is not working anymore.
When I rey to read it shows »communication error» when entering hardware info same message.
I installed on different computer and is the same. Changed usb cable and is the same. I suspect hardware problem. Anybody can help me?
It was working ok today.

Some times USB configuration not automatic detect.

Check in USB port in my_computer & USB software in xprog.

…If anybody have other things I coud try… It should’t be firmware from atmega… I suppose … because first of all there is no communication. When firmware in atmega is faulty does it give same message?

unistall the device in the device manager !
and install again !
set port sittings to 115000 baud, i not have shore because I use for sometime rs232 , but try to set «com» under 4

When I plug xprog in usb port I get »power surge on USB port» when I try to read any eeprom or mcu I get either »device is silent» either »communication error»

I made some measurements and I don’t get all voltages as in this picture. Hope someone can point me in the right direction… which component I have to replace?

Tried on a different computer and with power supply as well.
»power surge on USB port» message disappears when on external power supply. I got those components that cause program not to work since there’s no voltage where it should be… There’s a photo on post number 10

It’s hardware problem. I’ve got no voltage on some components inside my xprog. You can see photo. See link for picture on post no. 10

change capacitor if its clone . it shorts 5v . check lm317 and irf 4 pin chip

If its the same as verify error, remove all software, re install and turn internet off!
