Yume Miru Kusuri: A Drug That Makes You Dream представляет собой интерактивную визуальную новеллу, погружающую пользователей в обычную жизнь школьника по имени Кохэй Кагами. Yume Miru Kusuri: A Drug That Makes You Dream – история об обычном японском парне Кохэй Кагами. Ah, hello, hello. This is a simple, trial and error generated

‘play log’ style walkthrough for Yume Miru Kusuri. By ‘play log’

I mean these are the choices I myself made and verified, and kept

track of while playing.

More often than not, any deviation from the decision trees laid

out in this document will lead you to the ‘standard’ bad ending:

in which you continue your boring, non-existent life, lamenting

your inability to connect with any of the three oddballs that make

up this game’s lead female cast. Any aberrant ‘bad’ routes that

lead to interesting places will be noted. I may not have chosen

everything possible, though, so feel free to play around, if you

like.

This game appears to be separated into three parts. The

‘Introduction’, ‘Preliminary’, and ‘Final’ stages. The

Introduction covers the main and sub cast members through the

first six choices. The Preliminary stage is always the choice

between one girl and Cat Sidhe Nekoko. And the Final stage of

the game is when you have narrowed your choice down to a single

girl. Now, interestingly enough, the first six choices in the

game can have the best response chosen for each girl involved.

Choosing these allow you to secure the routes for any of three

girls without ill effect… however, if you really want the

‘full’ story for each girl, different choices must be made for

the first six steps. The changes are relatively minor, but each

one adds to the individual girl’s storyline as a whole, and I

recommend taking them instead. But, there are always those who

want a ‘central’ save file that can be split from any direction

with relative impunity, so I have included these choices under the

heading ‘Central Save Steps’ for that purpose.

Also, while I know it’s been said elsewhere by people more

eloquent than I, please don’t pirate games. If you enjoyed it,

buy it! Support the industry, and promote the development of more

games like this. Well, maybe not more games like this one, but

more ren’ai games in general.

I am just an average student, living an average, colorless life. I

study, I work my part-time job, I get through my day just like

everyone else, trying not to stand out from the crowd. But

suddenly, almost before I realize it, the winds of change have

blown into my life. They come in the form of three girls, girls

who have been around me for some time, but who I never noticed in

this way before. They are most definitely not living a colorless

life like everyone else in postmodern Japan. They seem to float

above society, strangely unaffected by it. Instinctively I know I

should avoid getting involved with them, and yet before I know it,

self-proclaimed «ero-gay». When not trying to push his favorite H-

games on you he’s usually trying to make a pass at you while at

Use these choices to have a game that focuses primarily on Shiraki

Aeka, the class scapegoat and target of the biggest bulling

problem I’ve ever seen. She’s a poor kid looking for a little

sympathy, and will do anything to get it… Including you.

Route Notes: What annoys me most of all about this scenario is

the issue with the money, and the physical assaults. That it

needed to go that far before anyone would do anything really,

really bothers me. Thankfully, this is just a work of fiction.

And the ‘Cat fight’ is immensely gratifying. Almost as gratifying

as trying to kill Antoinette >:}. (Evil laughter) Ahem. After

that, Kouhei and Aeka quit school, Aeka moves in with Kouhei with

the blessings of ‘Mom and Dad’, and both of them begin working

towards a new future together. Awww. This is the ‘Finale’ ending

for Aeka, what with the credit roll and all.

Route Notes: She jumps! She doesn’t die! But, she won’t talk to

you any more either. Depressed, despondent, and now the last

target of the evil Antoinette, Kagami Kouhei slips deeper and

deeper into his auditory hallucination. Choosing ‘kill time

outside’ at 13 brings this ending about a wee bit faster.

Interpersonal Relationship :: Kirimiya Mizuki Only Route:

Use the choices below to have a game that focuses primarily on

Kirimiya Mizuki-Sempai, the seemingly aloof, yet capricious class

president. This is perhaps the most bittersweet of the game’s

routes. However, I love the ‘danger’ music that appears for her

‘daring’ sex scenes.

Route Notes: 6 months after Kirimiya Mizuki disappears, Aya is

finally starting to lose some of the guilt she feels for spilling

the beans about Kouhei and Mizuki. However, upon returning from a

shopping trip, Mizuki is standing in front of Kouhei’s house,

staring up at his window. Lonely. Beautiful. Pregnant. With

all that unprotected sex you two had, is this really a surprise?

The two of you get married and Mizuki moves in with Kouhei, at his

parent’s place. The Scenario ends with Mizuki being as capricious

as usual, the only difference is in her wanting to know what

tomorrow will bring, rather than today. This Ending is what I

would call ‘The Melancholy of Kirimiya Mizuki’ and is a ‘Finale

ending’. That means it’s the best ending for her in the game.

Any variation of the above between 01 – 10 (except for #8)will lead

to the ‘standard’ bad ending. Variation on anything after choice

10 leads to a Mizuki bad ending, just for her. However, the steps

below lead to one well worth reading, from my point of view.

Route Notes: Six months later. Earlier, Kouhei became President

of the student council after Mizuki disappeared, enacting several

policy changes against bullying and drug use. After hiring a

private investigator, Kouhei finds Kirimiya Mizuki died of

‘toxemia of pregnancy’. An altogether sad twist to an

interestingly bizarre storyline.

Fully translated from Irish and Japanese, Nekoko’s name is ‘Cat

Elf Cat-girl’. Just thought I’d throw that out there, as her name

is only half as lame and bizarre as the girl herself. Constantly

running into trouble and dragging Kouhei (unwillingly) along for

the ride, this spaced out, drug addicted twelve year old mooches

meals, mooches smooches, and pretty much conscripts Kouhei into

finding the ‘fairies home’… or else. *Ka-Zot*

Route Notes: Cat Sidhe Nekoko. Real name: Sakurai Hiroko. The

Librarian. Like Kouhei, she is a ‘transparent girl’, albeit one

who attempted to ‘color’ herself with a narcotic. The word

‘Failure’ comes to mind. Anyway, after Kouhei figures everything

out and learns who she really is, she up and disappears for two

years. (What is with this game and women who run away?) Then,

mysteriously, two tickets arrive for the special, invitation only

opening day of the ‘Cat Sidhe Wonderland’ amusement park…

‘Welcome to the fairies home!’ indeed. This is Nekoko’s Finale

ending, and you get a credit roll.

Route Notes: Bad ending. Cat Sidhe Nekoko decides to ascend to

the Fairy home without Kouhei. Several years later, Nekoko is

still missing. The police bother Kouhei about it from time to

time, but he really doesn’t know where she’s gone. Reminiscing

about it, Kouhei thinks he sees Nekoko, but realizes she’s not

really there. And off he goes to work. All because he read the

wrong book in front of a mousey little librarian. Oh well.

Route notes: Choosing to ignore the dealer takes Kouhei back to

his house to research the drug on his own. And then, Hirofumi

shows up in full ‘Puff’ mode. Tsubaki secures the ‘Angel Tail

Colour’ pill for you, allowing for the end of the scenario. But,

it leads to the bad ending. I only include this route because

it’s Hirofumi. Hirofumi in your ROOM. Dangarousu!

And that about sums it up.

Kagami Aya & Tsubaki Hirofumi

There are a few CG sets for Kagami Aya, Kouhei’s flat as a board,

peach-fuzzed, pesky ‘little sister’, to whom he isn’t related to

by blood – however there is no ending for her that I can find, the

game’s dialogue during Aeka’s Finale route and Hirofumi’s talk of

‘hidden characters’ in the main story not withstanding. Or maybe

I’m not doing it right. Humnn. Aya’s CG sets are as follows:

Aya and Kouhei at Cat Sidhe Wonderland (Nekoko’s Finale), Bath

time with sister (Main Story Event), and when you grope her during

Aeka’s route. Her event list is short, too: Aya: Bath with

sister, Aya: Icy cliff in the Tundra, and Aya: A Passing Fancy.

There is absolutely nothing for Tsubaki Hirofumi, despite how

amusing he is. Again, rather unexpected, considering all his talk

about hidden paths and secret characters. Then again, I might be

doing it wrong. If someone has a full route to get Aya or

Hirofumi, email me at ichitaka143a@aim.com . I’ll add it to this

guide and give you credit. What a deal! :p

Four choices and a number scheme, to be precise. So, I availed

in my own ramblings as well as the above-mentioned glaring flaw.

I’m still not sure how I managed that… ah well. Hopefully the

guide makes a little more sense now than it did, and is now error
